Introducing our featured stylists: Rhon Friend, Jordan Way, Neya Chance and Zulieka Woodard, who specialize in precision cutting, custom coloring and believable hair weaving to name a few.

A native of the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Sherry has been working with the public for most of her years and loves it. Sherry is generally the first person to greet you when you enter Friends and the first to expose you to its superior customer service. She shampoos and conditions the client's hair in preparation for the stylist. Sherry is also embarking on a career as a massage therapist to further develop her skills and to expand the services of Friends the Salon. Sherry has been declared by many to have "heavenly hands," and her shampoos dubbed as "the shampoo experience." Sherry loves and cherishes the amazing experience of making someone look and feel beautiful and looks forward to ushering you into an unforgettable shampoo experience.

Naretta Banks, known as Scootie to most and a mother of two, was born in Long Branch, New Jersey. She grew up in a large family and started doing hair at an early age. By the age of thirteen, she was doing hair around the neighborhood and enjoyed crafting her skills. Naretta received professional training from Empire Beauty School and has been a styling hair for nearly 14 years. She has mastered the art of exotic weaving, braiding, styling, and natural hair. Naretta believes the integrity of the hair is most important and her sole focus is the well-being of each individual client.

Angelique Harris, known as Angel, is a native of York, Pennsylvania. She started her career as a master stylist in Charlotte, North Carolina, moved from Charlotte to Marietta, Georgia, and then decided to continue her profession and hone her skills back home in York, Pennsylvania. Angel specializes in healthy, natural hair care, loves the creativity of bold statements of color, cuts, and up do’s.  OWNER, MASTER STYLISTRhon Friend is a celebrated hair stylist and beauty expert. For over 25 years, he has attracted a following with unparalleled devotion. At Friends the Salon, Rhon and his team offer fresh looks, technique, and advice, receiving accolades from women of all backgrounds and lifestyles.
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Rhon Friend, Owner and Master Stylist has over twenty-five years of experience in the industry. After graduating from Jewel's Beauty Academy at the top of his class in 1982, Rhon set out to develop a style uniquely his own and gained prominence in Baltimore and surrounding areas, even garnering an audience with Patti LaBelle for his "knock-off" hair do and super marketing.
Cultivating and continuing education are essential to Rhon’s philosophy as a salon owner. He has created, maintained, and manages an in-house education program. Working closely with his team on a daily basis, he encourages his staff to develop and refine their talents in order to achieve their professional best.
Described by most as a visionary and very passionate about goals – and obtaining them, Rhon has become revered and loved in the industry. Rhon’s success depends on his innate ability to identify with each client and create an exclusive and often trend-setting hair design based on his understanding of their lifestyle, along with his artistic eye for proportion and sensitivity to the particular nature of their hair and body. Yet, his greatest renown is for his tension-releasing shampoo and scalp massage.
Rhon has studied advanced techniques in hair design under the guidance of John Achison, Berry Fletcher, associates of the Paul Mitchell Company and others in the industry. He mastered the art of coloring, precision cutting and hair weaving.
Rhon has completed the prescribed course of study as a Instructor in accordance with the requirements established by the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology and Empire Beauty Schools.

Abraham Natale, father on Nevaeh and minister of the gospel, was born in the Bronx, New York and migrated to York, Pennsylvania with his mother and siblings at an early age. After graduating high school, Abraham joined and completed four years of services in the U.S Navy. In efforts to fulfill his life and find his purpose, he attended the Baltimore School of Massage where he graduated and received his professional massage therapist certification. The word massage was actually taken from the word messiah, meaning the laying on of hands, and healing, an experience Abraham enjoys providing his clients. Abraham believes there is no other feeling than healing those who are in discomfort. His goal is to help everyone who is in need and to bring the body awareness of its potential to heal itself with a little support.
