Sherry JusticeA native of the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Sherry has been working with the public for most of her years and loves it. Sherry is generally the first person to greet you when you enter Friends and the first to expose you to its superior customer service. She shampoos and conditions the client's hair in preparation for the stylist. Sherry is also embarking on a career as a massage therapist to further develop her skills and to expand the services of Friends the Salon. Sherry has been declared by many to have "heavenly hands," and her shampoos dubbed as "the shampoo experience." Sherry loves and cherishes the amazing experience of making someone look and feel beautiful and looks forward to ushering you into an unforgettable shampoo experience.

Naretta BanksNaretta Banks, known as Scootie to most and a mother of two, was born in Long Branch, New Jersey. She grew up in a large family and started doing hair at an early age. By the age of thirteen, she was doing hair around the neighborhood and enjoyed crafting her skills. Naretta received professional training from Empire Beauty School and has been a styling hair for nearly 14 years. She has mastered the art of exotic weaving, braiding, styling, and natural hair. Naretta believes the integrity of the hair is most important and her sole focus is the well-being of each individual client.

Neya ChanceNeya Chance is a master stylist from York, Pennsylvania. Her career started at the celebrated "Empire Beauty School" located in her hometown of York, PA, where she graduated at the top of her class. Neya also sharpened her skills at one of the most prestigious salons in Atlanta, Georgia.

Her creativity and passion for healthy hair keeps her motivated to continue gaining knowledge to bring to her clients and co-workers. Neya specializes in natural presses with all lengths and textures of hair. However, nothing takes the joy of her savvy, chic, short and trendy hair styles.

Neya strongly believes that establishing a lasting stylist-client relationship is critical to maintaining healthy gorgeous hair.

At Friends the Salon, Neya has taken advantage of the hands-on training opportunities and the in-house education program. She has consistently studied to develop and enhance her skills at many of the industries’ top academies. This list includes the acclaimed Dudley Cosmetology University and Chi Academy. She has also taken the Nioxin Training Class. Neya makes every effort to attend the Beauty shows to get new ideas and stay on top of her craft.

Antwi DixonMy name is Antwi Dixon known to must as " Rika". I am a mother of three and a native of Lancaster, PA. I began doing hair at an early age. I took other career ventures, but never seemed passionate at what I was doing. I decided to go to Empire Beauty School in 2007 to become a professional hairstylist. I graduated and returned to Empire Beauty School to recieve my teaching degree. Prior to joining Friends the salon I worked in a salon for a year. I love to be creative in what I do. I love to sew weaves, cornrow and cut and color. I enjoy learning new techniques. I am always open to learning new hair design and keeping up with the current trends. I want to keep my clients happy and returning. I wake- up in the morning ready and eager to please my clients. I look forward to seeing you at "Friends the Salon".

DanieDanie is a self-motivated stylist from Harrisburg, PA and is one of our newest stylists in the Friends The Salon family. He has built a wide Harrisburg community-based clientele since 2004 and it grows still, newer and greater in magnitude. He is adept in the arts of hair cutting, chemical application, color application, as well as hair weaves. You may find him "cutting-up" at our newest Friends The Salon location in Harrisburg, PA. Josh Ari SelveyHarrisburg native Josh Ari Selvey is no stranger to creativity. An aspiring artist and performer, he has been flourishing on the artists' scene in midtown Harrisburg for the past several years. He has taken part in many creative events and projects in the area, honing his craft and making a transition to the professional creator's world. His value to the community and its people provokes a sense of gratitude and the desire to share his many gifts with the folks who gave so much unconditional love and support in his endeavors. Now, as a member of the Harrisburg location at Friends the salon as an assistant and creative director, he looks forward into the future.

Rhon Friend is a celebrated hair stylist and beauty expert. For over 25 years, he has attracted a following with unparalleled devotion. At Friends the Salon, Rhon and his team offer fresh looks, technique, and advice, receiving accolades from women of all backgrounds and lifestyles.

A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Rhon Friend, Owner and Master Stylist has over twenty-five years of experience in the industry. After graduating from Jewel's Beauty Academy at the top of his class in 1982, Rhon set out to develop a style uniquely his own and gained prominence in Baltimore and surrounding areas, even garnering an audience with Patti LaBelle for his "knock-off" hair do and super marketing.

Cultivating and continuing education are essential to Rhon’s philosophy as a salon owner. He has created, maintained, and manages an in-house education program. Working closely with his team on a daily basis, he encourages his staff to develop and refine their talents in order to achieve their professional best.

Abrahame NataleAbrahame Natale, father of Nevaeh and minister of the gospel, was born in Bronx, New York and migrated to York, Penesylvania wiith his mother and siblings at an early age. After graduating from high school, Abraham joined and completed four years of service in the U.S. Navy. In efforts to fulfill his life and find his purpose, he attended the Baltimore School of Massage where he graduated and received his professional massage therapist certification. The word massage was actually taken from the word messiah, meaning the laying on of hands, and healing, an experience Abraham enjoys providing his clients. Abraham believes there is no better feeling than healing those who are in discomfort. His goal is to help everyone who is in need and to bring the body into awareness of its potential to heal itself with a little support.

Damar MooreMy name is Damar Moore, from York, Pennsylvania. I've been a hair technician for over 10 years. Stephanie HankinsStephanie Hankins, was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and is the daughter of George Hankins and the late Annette Hankins. Educated in the Baltimore City Public School District, she has also attended Baltimore City Community College and Sojourner Douglass College. Stephanie began her barber career in 1995 under the direction of Robert Webb (Celebrity Barbershop). Noteable clients include Baltimore Orioles' baseball players and a few on-air Fox reporters.

With more than 15 years' experience in the hair industry, she has done photo shoots with Derek Rutheledge and Ralph Mixum of Black Passion Magazine. A collaboration with Rhon Friend is an extension of their relationship which includes participating in numerous hair shows in both the Baltimore & Washington, DC areas. We welcome Stephanie to the Friends the Salon team. We wish her blessings as she pursues her dream to ultimately becoming an east and west coast barber in the near future.

As a native of Harrisburg, PA, she has joined the Friends Movement representing the people of her own community in the Harrisburg branch. Sonya has practiced the art of cosmetology since the tender age of twelve and has never looked back. She enjoys working with a wide spectrum of hair types from natural to chemically processed hair. She gives a warm, loving and fun atmosphere to whomever she is servicing; any client of Sonya's will leave refreshed and affected by her positive outlook and energy.

Michael DunbarMy name is the prominent Michael Dunbar, better known as the "Hair Therapist". I am a very outgoing person and I love being around people. I am very in tune with fashion and all the latest trends and I love to assist with my intriguing ideas in this area. I am happily married to Toni Spruill-Dunbar, and God has blessed us with four beautiful children, Carlos, Kiara, Kylyn, and Kaedyn. I was born and raised in Harrisburg Pa, where there is a lot of unseen talent that is overlooked. Knowing that I have decided to fulfill my dreams, may give others the courage to fulfill their dreams. At a young age, God has placed an anointing on my hands, which started my journey on becoming a hair stylist. I realized that I had a gift that allowed me to enhance the beauty of people, while making them smile and feel good about themselves. While working as an assistant stylist at "Nappy Roots" hair salon in Steelton Pennsylvania, and my ongoing passion for hair inspired me to attend and graduate from Empire Beauty School. This has allowed me to excel in different areas of hair such as; color, cuts, styling, dread locks and weave sew ins. One of my expertises is styling and maintaining natural hair, in which I think natural is beautiful and unique.
